Day 77 Friday 1st September

Although we didn’t want to leave Glen Erin and our friends, we thought we’d better start heading south again. We had an easy drive past Mackay to the small town of Sarina. We had been told of a lovely caravan park here and we were not disappointed. The sites are beautiful with manicured grassy sites, outstanding amenities and tropical gardens. There are a large number of concrete wild animals hiding amongst the plants. Giraffes, hippos, rhinos, gorillas, just to name a few! After settling in we drove to Sarina Beach and Campwin Beach. Both lovely scenic spots!
