Day 59 Monday 14th August
We left
Undara and headed north east. Although we didn’t travel that far today (190kms)
the change in the landscape was dramatic. We are now in a tropical, mountainous
area and everywhere we look there is dense rainforest or open dairy fields. We
decided to stay in a lovely little town called Millaaa Millaa, “The Village in
the Mist”. It is also known as the southern gateway to the Atherton Tablelands.
The caravan park is very attractive with tropical plants everywhere and lots of
grass. Once we’d settled in and had some lunch, we decided to go for a drive
and visit the many waterfalls in the area. In total we visited 5 different
waterfalls and they were all a little bit different from each other and all
quite spectacular in their own way. The waterfalls were all easy to access. You
may know that Rob once said he was “gorged out” when he had visited many gorges
in the Kimberleys and Karajini in the west, well today he was “falled out” due
to the number of waterfalls we went to.
Now for the photos over the last few days. Spot the drone (twice)
